Guys Who Give help Craig Park get a new-old bridge!

Miss the meeting last night? Don’t fear! Here’s a recap!

First, we heard from Gerry Hoffa on behalf of CRADLES of Clay County! CRADLES is looking for funding to help with tuition assistance, facility improvements and renovations.

Next, Tom Reberger spoke on behalf of the Clay Community Parks Association who is looking for funding to preserve a bridge to put in Craig Park. This funding would contribute to a matching grant of which the Association has raised $10,000 so far.

Last, new member Cory Lookebill spoke on behalf of Broom Tree Ministries, an organization that runs the food for thought backpack program which provides food for children on weekends at the cost of $6 per child per week.

After some consideration, the membership voted to fund…

The Clay Community Parks Association!

Congratulations to the Association, we look forward to seeing the progress in Craig park in around 18 months according to Tom.
