The Garrett Sands Kindness Project was created in memory of a young man who had a servant’s heart; he was kind and helpful to others. Garrett was an athlete and an honor student. In all that he did, he had a drive to be better than he was the day before. His family is proud to continue his acts of kindness.
Garrett had a passion for fitness. He believed in himself and encouraged others to work hard to achieve their goals. With this in mind, his family plans to donate an outdoor fitness station to the city of Terre Haute, to be located in beautiful Deming Park. To help achieve their goal of creating a place that the community can not only benefit from but also enjoy, they are accepting contributions.
If you wish to contribute to the Garrett Sands Kindness Project to support an outdoor fitness station in Deming Park, you may do so by mailing donations to Terre Haute Parks Department Project Fund – Deming Park, c/o Wabash Valley Community Foundation, 200 South 8th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807 or by clicking here.
