Mission: Through Community Support, the Vigo County Education Foundation provides programs and projects that enhance and enrich public education.
Vision: The Vigo County Education Foundation will provide funding to enhance learning opportunities in every Vigo County School Corporation classroom.
Founded in 1984, the Vigo County Education Foundation (VCEF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to excellent public education for the children of Vigo County. The VCEF generates new sources of revenue to fund teacher-initiated educational projects that could not be funded by local, state or federal money. Our goal is to build a strong partnership between the school and community to bring exceptional educational opportunities to Vigo County students.
The primary purpose of the Fund shall be to provide support to Vigo County Education Foundation, Inc. to carry out its role and mission as described by its governing documents.
