Why Terre Haute, and Why Coy Park?
The City of Terre Haute Mayor’s Youth Council is dedicated to renewing Coy Park by building a new accessible playground that will provide fun for children of all ages and abilities for generations to come.
With your support, we can honor the legacy of what Coy Park once was, and embrace what Coy Park will be now and for future generations.
The Future of Coy Park
Currently, Coy Park is a park full of promise. Located on the North side of Terre Haute, this neighborhood park currently offers a small playground and basketball area.
The Mayor’s Youth Council has a vision of new, inclusive playground equipment, including the following:
- Sensory Dome
- Upgraded Swing Set
- Tipi Carousel with Brace
- Hopper – Seesaw with Middle Platform
- 3600 Square Feet of Playground Mulch
- Interactive Art Murals on the restroom building
These features will offer fun for children of all ages and abilities, starting the renewal of Coy Park.
