Clay County CASA Kids Receives Large Grant from 100+ WWC!

If you missed the meeting last night, here is a recap:

 
Cara Ross spoke on behalf of First Presbyterian Church fbo Clay County CASA Kids – she works as a CASA and explained what the CASAs do and how in need CASA is of funds to help kids with basic needs as many are in foster homes.
 
 
Pam Fischer spoke on behalf of Be Nice Be Kind a just recently approved 501(c)3, they work to remind children in the community that there is hope, that they can reach out when things seem hopeless.
 
 
Roberta Weliever spoke on behalf of the Benevolence Ministry whose goal is to help relieve suffering in Clay County, they do so by trying to help working poor families by providing financial support, budgeting support or other support services.
 
 
 
Ultimately, the membership voted to fund CASA Kids and they will be receiving $8,500!
