Mission: We want to bring a sense of community back to Fairbanks and the surrounding areas. We are here to help the community where we can whether that be hosting free dinners, offering sleeping rooms, having a place to exercise, and much more.

Fairbanks Community Center, of northern Sullivan County, is a place for families, youth, and the community. Originally opened as Fairbanks School in 1910, the building is full of historic details and stories. The L.I.F.T organization was awarded a grant from the Office of Rural and Community Affairs in 2007 that allowed us to make necessary updates to turn the old school building into a community center. Our organization is completely ran by volunteers. The purpose of this fund is to give a lasting legacy to the Fairbanks Community Center that the community can enjoy it for years to come, and, in turn, bring that sense of community back to Fairbanks.
