Brazil Main Street Inc. Receives $7,200

Our first quarter meeting was held on March 8th at the Brazil Elks Lodge. We want to thank our sponsors: Michelle Engle of Remax and Dabren Clark of ONI Risk Partners for putting out a great spread for our members to enjoy during the meeting.

We had three member speakers representing three great organizations:

  1. Theresa Cooksey spoke on behalf of Brazil Mainstreet Inc, asking for funds to improve the appearance of the downtown Brazil main street with Christmas lights and trash receptacles with flower pots.
  2. Cara Ross spoke on behalf of the Northview Marching Band, asking for funds for new uniforms.
  3. Marian Harrison spoke on behalf of the Clay County Emergency Food Pantry, a service that provides food to families in the community.

Ultimately, our members voted to fund Brazil Mainstreet, Inc. for the first grant of 2017!
