Promoting safe and enjoyable cycling in West Virginia

WV mapThe West Virginia Cycling Foundation (WVCF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to the development of cycling for the overall health and character of West Virginia’s population, especially its youth.

Our mission is to promote safe and enjoyable cycling though activities that focus on encouraging cycling for lifelong health.  

We do this by:
•    supporting cycling events and programs.
•    supporting education and awareness programs.
•    supporting the creation, implementation and maintenance of biking facilities in the state to include on and off road cycling routes.
Cheat Mountain Challenge Centuries Road Rides Minimize

Selected as one of the best road cycling rides by Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine, the ride consists of 2 centuries on stellar roads with low traffic and terrific support.

The ride starts and ends at Snowshoe Mountain resort and tours the beautiful Allegheny Mountains.

This is our signature event and our annual fundraiser.  It is held during Snowshoe's Blues Brews and BBQ's event and provides a lot of activites for the entire family!
